O protocolo assinado entre o BioBIP FabLab e o Agrupamento de Escolas do Crato, tem o objetivo de promover a cooperação a todos os níveis entre as partes, articulando posições e atuando em conjunto na defesa dos interesses que comumente prosseguem, para o desenvolvimento de ações em parceria e a realização de outras atividades com relevo para a dinamização e sensibilização para as áreas das tecnologias STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), como metodologia para uma abordagem de aprendizagem multidisciplinar em ambiente académico, fomentando o espírito de inovação, criatividade e empreendedorismo.
Neste âmbito, as ações a dinamizar conjuntamente são essencialmente caracterizadas por uma abordagem experimental das tecnologias de desenho e impressão 3D, na programação de robots educativos e ciência didática, utilizando linguagens de programação adequadas aos níveis de conhecimento e às faixas etárias dos grupos de participantes, integrados nos ciclos de estudos lecionadas no AECrato. Do conjunto de ações fazem parte as seguintes atividades:
- a) Realização de workshops sobre: desenho e corte a laser; Modelação e impressão 3D; Formação especializada em utilização/atualização de software; Iniciação à eletrónica e à robótica; Introdução à programação em Scratch; Introdução à Programação de Arduino; Introdução à Programação em Python
em Raspberry Pi, entre outros;
- b) Visitas programadas de escolas do AECrato, com realização de atividades de experimentação com o objetivo de desenvolver o gosto pela ciência ao mesmo tempo que são desenvolvidas competências ao nível da literacia científica;
- c) Estágios: possibilidade de realização de estágios curriculares/profissionais (internos ou externos), através de protocolos existentes no IPP ou de celebração de novos acordos de cooperação;
- d) Outras atividades que se verifiquem como enquadráveis no âmbito da missão do BioBIP FabLab.
